Orbis Reveals Global Success for FY2008/2009

Orbis, a leading marketing management software company, has completed its financial year to 30 June 2009, recording record revenue growth on the back of major client implementations across the globe. The company has cemented its position as a global leader in its space through the completion of significant projects for clients such as Telstra Corporation, Royal Dutch Shell, and Telefonica O2, along with mid-market solutions for clients such as Paypal UK, Amgen, Crust Gourmet Group and Twenty20 Communications.

Grant Halloran, Orbis CEO noted that “despite the world recession we have proven that demand for our solutions has continued to be incredibly strong. The reasons are simple: we help eliminate waste; get to market faster; get more out of fewer resources; and tightly control marketing funds and processes that create a lot of risk for the client.”

In the telecommunications sector Orbis completed significant implementations with Telefonica O2 in the UK and Telstra in Australia. Both of these projects were very large in user numbers and complexity, involving rapid deployments and integrations with other key business systems.

Royal Dutch Shell expanded its Orbis deployment in Retail Marketing, adding a Marketing Financials Management solution across 50 countries, enabling real-time management and visibility across all activities related to its global retail marketing spend.

Orbis also continued its successful path of providing solutions for smaller but progressive marketing organisations, securing and delivering on contracts this year with Amgen pharmaceuticals, Crust Gourmet Group and Paypal in the UK. Orbis solutions with smaller companies are typically straight out of the box and can be deployable in days.

Mr Halloran commented “we expect Orbis’ growth to be maintained at high levels, especially in our major growth markets in Europe and Asia Pacific and key sectors that we are focused upon. Current conditions make marketing even more critical to the success of a business and there is now a wide acknowledgement that systemisation in marketing delivers massive ROI.
