The research methodology used by Aberdeen determines a category of technology adopters who achieve substantially better results from their technology adoption than the industry average. These companies are called ‘Best-in-Class’ by Aberdeen. This report was researched and developed by Aberdeen Senior Research Analyst, Ian Michiels.
Some key findings from the report include:
- ‘Best-in-Class’ organisations using marketing automation technologies are FIVE times more likely than peers to report improved decision making quality and decision making timeliness over the prior year
- ‘Best-in-Class’ organisations’ are SEVEN times more likely than Average and Laggard organisations combined to achieve greater than 100% return on typical marketing campaigns.
- 21% of ‘Best-in-Class’ organisations reduced the year-over-year cost per lead by greater than 10%. (vs. 6% peers who can claim the same)
- ‘Best-in-Class’ reduced year-over-year average production time on projects 31% of the time upon using a workflow automation solution for more than a year.
